End the drama and raise a tech-responsible kid with this "dumb" smart phone that puts you in control of what your child has access to on their phone and that grows with your child.
I am soooo freaking excited to announce that Bark Technologies, the award winning online safety service, has just released Bark Home.
Â
Bark, the company I rave about that was founded by a group of dads wanting to find a way to keep our kids safe, and that works closely with parents and law enforcement to be on the cutting edge of protection for all the things our kids are facing in this digital age, has now released BARK HOME!!Â
It plugs into your family’s Wi-Fi router and lets you manage all of the internet-connected devices in your home easily from the Bark app (available for both Android and iOS) — from laptops and smart TVs to PlayStations and tablets.
Bark Home, when added to your existing Bark service, will help your family get the most comprehensive online safety protection currently available on the market.

(00:00): Hey, Hey, this is episode nine of the be that mom movement podcast.
(00:08): welcome to your source for tips, tools, and support to help ...
It has been quite a while since I have made a crockpot recipe, until a few days ago as I sat at home (surprise! surprise! Lol)Â trying to find something different to make for dinner, and remembered that I have a few family favorite recipes that are perfect for this time of needing to stay at home and bulk buying groceries.
So I went through my favorites, and have three favorites to share with you!Â
For each of these, there are instructions on how to combine the ingredients in a freezer bag, label, and freeze until the night before you want to make them. Then the next day you can pop them in the crockpot, set the timer, and voila! Dinner is made!Â
Super simple! Is that not cool and so helpful right now, especially for all that have kids at home you are trying to juggle while also working?! Yay!Â
You can download it for free HERE or click on the image above!Â
The health benefits of exercise are well-studied, and something we all need to prioritize, but for most of us, it is legit a mega struggle. Am I right?
I personally am a recovering exercise hater, and it was using these 5 tips I share in this episode, that helped me move past that and finally get into a routine AND to actually look forward to it!
Have you ever thought that you probably need to offer some sort of guidance and monitoring with your kid and their digital device or presence online, but you are not sure where to start?
Trust me, I've been there, and so have many other parents who reached out to me with similar struggles and concerns.Â
It was a concern of mine for years as my kids interacted with the world, uncensored and un-monitored, until it became apparent that I needed to intervene asap!!
Don't make the mistake I did! Be proactive, from this day forward! Listen in to learn my best tips for walking this path of digital health and safety, that I gathered after much struggle and heartache trying to figure this all out! <CLICK HERE to download a Be THAT Mom road map worksheet I created just for you!>

I realize this is can be a far stretch, but I truly believe that trials are put in our paths to guide us to a new place, and this trial we are all facing right now is unprecedented for sure, but also a beautiful gift forcing us to pause and pivot.
For my own personal life, I have long witnessed within my own career in nursing, that we are quite often understaffed, overworked, and largely unsupported, and this situation we are in has highlighted that on a tragic scale, among many other things that we largely take for granted and don't give due credit in the world, and while tragic indeed, it is also going to be the catalyst for major change.
Hold tight to that, in whatever way this affects you. Listen in to the podcast for my own insight that I hope you will find helpful during these difficult days. What will come out of your pause and pivot? Connect with me! I can't wait to hear!

1st glance at this pic of my two girls and the baby dolls… did you see my younger daughter ...far right?! (❤️ this pic!) She kind of blends in with the baby dolls doesn't she?
When I was breastfeeding her at this age, she started having digestive issues that originated from what I was eating.
I LOVED this time w/ each of my kids & just wasn’t ready to end it yet, so I cut out dairy & soy that was suspected to be causing her issues, & low & behold she got better.
The problem came in when I wasn’t getting enough food & nutrition in MY body, so I dropped down to 112 pounds, which you’d never know by looking at her. <Chunky monkey!!>
My body made perfect milk for her, but the inadequate nutrition was also slowly taking its toll on MY body.

This is like a microcosm of what happens in our lives when deprived of nutrition, as moms/parents giving to everyone but ourselves & having sustained high stress!

We can only sustain this for so long!

...Do you ever have those days where everything just seems to get to you. I have had a few lately and after a full day of patients and tons of miles to drive, the exhaustion is sometimes too much. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So when I came home the other day and saw this sunset, it just gave me pause, and I decided it was time to take a step back and give myself a little extra TLC. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So that started with a relaxing bath with a bath bomb from My Soul CBD <I highly recommend this particular company for quality CBD products! Use code DOLLY for % off of your order!>⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
and then a good night’s sleep! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
<I actually got eight hours, which pretty much never happens!>⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How much sleep do you usually get? If you are anything like me, or have a career like mine, this is a touuuuchy subject!! Am I right? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I usually average about 5 to 6 hours but shoot for 7 if I can. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The truth is, being chronically sleep-deprived th...
